Dr. Teresa Pham graduated from the University of Texas (Hook ‘em!) in 2014 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences and received her Doctorate of Optometry from the University of Houston in 2018, graduating with clinical honors. Dr. Pham then went on to complete a residency in Ocular Disease providing services to the veteran population at the Cincinnati VA Medical Center in Ohio, where she gained specialized training in medical optometry and emergent eyecare. While gaining clinical experience during her residency, Dr. Pham also gave several lectures educating local physicians on various retinal conditions and acted as an attending doctor, overseeing Optometry students completing their internship at the Cincinnati VA Medical Center. Her clinical interests include ocular disease management, fitting specialty contact lenses, and pre- and post-operative care of ocular surgery patients.
Following her time in Cincinnati, she moved to South Raleigh in 2019 to be with her fiancé and their rescue dog. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Pham loves traveling and hiking, trying new foods and recipes with her fiancé, and shooting photography. She also speaks Vietnamese and is conversational in Spanish.
